STUNNER: Democrats hold the line in election shock

Every investor needs his own PRIVATE INTELLIGENCE AGENCY on his side.

And powerful weapons at his disposal to act when information comes in.

Why?

Yesterday proved it.

Most of the experts were wrong, wrong, wrong.

Just as they were wrong about the Fed’s ability to manage inflation.

The Democrats turned in an unexpectedly strong performance, though we won’t know the balance of power for a couple days.

However, in Florida, Republican governor Ron DeSantis triumphed easily… and his strong performance was a notable contrast to many of the candidates endorsed by former president Donald Trump.

Instead of a unifying red wave, it looks like an internal battle within the Republican Party is about to begin.

A lot of the models and expectations that people had about trading this morning just went out the window… and things are going to be changing fast.

I mean this quite literally – there is no time for analysis.

You need to be able to read the technical signals in real time, know what they mean, act immediately, and execute a plan that is built upon a strategy with a record of proven success.

No talk, no speculation, just information and action.

Speed above all things.

That’s what we’re delivering with TRADECOMMAND.

That’s why our ambition is to have you win every trade, every single time.

Is that possible? Of course not.

But the purpose of life is to strive for the impossible.

And when you look back, you see that you may not have won them all, but you won enough to leave a legacy of greatness.

Let’s go forth and conquer today – the confusion and volatility, as always, is to our advantage

Keep Moving,

TRADECOMMAND is perhaps the single greatest weapon ever put in the hands of Main Street investors.

THE OFFENSIVE is already underway.

Don’t be left behind.

WORD ON THE STREET

SHOCK Election Puts Democrats In Strong Position

  • Levi Strauss Gets new Leader – Activist investors from Kohl’s reportedly pushed Levi Strauss & Co (LEVI) to pick its new leader. Kohl’s CEO Michelle Gass will depart her company to become president of LEVI in January and eventually CEO. LEVI was down more than 3% yesterday.
  • Democrats Perform Well In Close Midterms – While the GOP has picked up seats in the House, many close Senate races went to the Democrats, with likely victories in Arizona, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania shocking confident Republicans. However, Ron DeSantis cruised to an easy re-election as Republicans throughout Florida mostly triumphed. Trump-endorsed candidate J.D. Vance also triumphed in his Senate run in Ohio, giving the Republicans another populist in the upper chamber.

Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) May Be The Next Speaker, But He’ll Have A Weak Hand
  • An Alternative To Trading – Someone in California has won the largest prize in American lottery history – the $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot. Of course, Uncle Sam will get his cut. The winner will take a lump sum of $997.6 million or 30 payments via an annuity plan. Given inflation, he might want to take the lump sum.

  • Carvana Hits Bottom? – Online used car retailer Carvana Co (CVNA) has been in meltdown over the last few trading days, losing more than 50% over the last five trading sessions. It’s down an astonishing 96.93% YTD, as falling used car sales have cut into the company’s profits. However, after a relatively small decline yesterday, the stock bounced back 1.9% in after-hours trading. Only about 95% to go.

HOT SPOTS: What’s Going on in Geopolitics

  • Russia Denies Negotiations With USA – When asked if Russia is negotiating with the United States over Ukraine, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko bluntly replied, “No we are not.” However, he claimed Russia is prepared for negotiations with Kyiv “without any preconditions.” Don’t count on it – Ukraine passed a law last month banning any diplomacy with Vladimir Putin’s government.
  • Pentagon Doesn’t Expect Taiwan Attack – Though President Xi Jinping has directed the Chinese military to be ready for war, the Pentagon reportedly doesn’t expect an attack for at least two years. Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Dr. Colin Kahl argued that China is more likely to “establish a sphere of influence” by constantly probing Taiwanese air space and flying close to American aircraft. Kahl argued that the USA should respond by working closely with allies, notably Australia, Japan, and India, as part of the so-called “Quad.”

  • Japan Moves Towards Missile Defense – As China and Russia have arguably outpaced the West in hypersonic missiles, Japan is being forced to respond. The Japanese government is reportedly going to begin mass production of “Type-O3” guided missiles by 2029. Japan has been shifting away from its traditional postwar anti-military stance, now building up its forces in response to a perceived Chinese threat.

CUTTING EDGE: Whats Happening In Tech

  • Tech Layoffs Keep Coming – Crunchbase News reports that as of late October, more than 45,000 American tech workers have been laid off in 2022. That could be just the beginning, with META reportedly scheduling thousands of layoffs as early as this week and other companies already imposing a hiring freeze.
  • Mastodon Gains Against Musk – Conservatives who thought Twitter was biased have had a few minor alternatives such as GETTR, Parler, and Truth Social. Now, it’s progressives who are fleeing from Twitter now that it’s been taken over by TecnoKing Elon Musk. Mastodon has gained more than 500,000 users since Musk took over Twitter.

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION

“On August 24 I said to prioritize silver over gold. At the time, as I noted, the price was $19.12 an ounce.”

“As of this writing, it’s over $21.20 an ounce.”

What can we say. Mr. X likes silver.

But it’s been on a run – up more than $2.00 since he suggested Rogue Investing Daily subscribers should continue stacking the precious metal.

Mr. X unpacks why silver is important, why it’s the best hedge to use at this time, and whether it has the ability to destroy the entire world financial system.

Because, yes, many people are buying it because they think it will do just that.
